Schools pay for each active learner account. The School plan is R60 per learner per year (R5 a month) billed annually, or R6 per learner per month billed monthly, for a minimum of 100 learners. School Pro is R90 per learner per year or R9 a month, for a minimum of 200 learners. Teachers, staff and parents cost nothing extra. Prices are in rand and no VAT is added.

Yes. Public schools in quintiles 1 to 3 get 40% off and quintiles 4 and 5 get 20% off, so the School plan costs R36 or R48 per learner per year. Schools with 1 000 or more learners get 10% off. Discounts don't combine: you get the largest one that applies.

No. The free plan is free forever - one teacher, up to 30 learners, core LMS. You only upgrade when you need SBA tools, report cards, or more than 30 learners.

You pay one invoice for the year, which works out to two months free compared with paying monthly. If your learner numbers grow during the year, we invoice the extra learners for the terms that are left, and we update your learner count when you renew.

It's an add-on: R120 per learner per year (R10 a month) billed annually, or R12 per learner per month billed monthly. It includes 15 questions per learner per month, shared across the school, and extra questions cost R300 per 500. School Pro includes 5 questions per learner per month without the add-on. Tutor plans can add 300 questions a month for R199.

Setting up yourself is free, with our import templates and a 30-minute orientation call. Guided onboarding is R3 500 once-off: we import your learners and staff, set up your subjects and SBA, and run two 2-hour live training sessions. It's included with School Pro and with annual School plans of 500 learners or more. On-site training is R6 000 a day plus travel.

Yes, on every paid plan. Schools can export gradebook, attendance and SBA data for school, circuit and district reporting.

The District plan is R40 per learner per year across all the district's schools, billed to the district office, with a minimum of R150 000 a year. Each school keeps its own data and admin access. District offices whose schools already subscribe can add District Insight for R2 000 per school per year. You can also pilot the platform with up to 10 schools for one term at half price.

You can cancel any plan at any time, with no cancellation fee. Monthly plans end at the end of the month you've paid for. Annual plans are refunded for every whole month not yet started, and if you cancel within 7 days of paying you get everything back. You can export all your data for 30 days after your cancellation takes effect. After that, personal data is deleted, apart from records such as invoices that the law requires us to keep. See our Cancellation Policy at /legal/cancellation/.

Yes. The platform, database and uploaded files are hosted in Johannesburg, and we act as an operator under POPIA. Only email delivery and the optional AI Study Assistant process limited data abroad, as listed in our Privacy Policy. Our full DPA is available at /legal/dpa/.

No. Schools that already subscribe keep their current price until their renewal date.

Tutors get the LMS, quizzes, assignments, attendance, parent portal, and certificates - everything a tutor needs. They don't see school-specific CAPS tools such as SBA task management and term SBA records.
