Cancellation Policy

Effective: 8 October 2026 Last updated: 8 October 2026 FutureReady Digital (Pty) Ltd
In short: you can cancel any plan at any time, with no cancellation fee and no notice period. We never debit your card or bank account automatically: every payment is made by you against an invoice, so once you cancel, no further invoices are issued.

1. Free Trials

Tutor workspaces and schools start with a 30-day free trial. No card is needed. We email you 7 days and 1 day before the trial ends.

  • You can stop at any time during the trial at no cost.
  • If you do not continue, your account is paused when the trial ends. Tell us and we cancel your first invoice; you owe nothing.
  • Your data is kept while the account is paused, so you can pick up where you left off. If you would rather we delete it, ask us and we will do so within 30 days.

2. Learner Course Plans

  • Once-off plan: cancelling ends your access to the plan's courses. Any refund follows our Refund Policy.
  • Monthly plan: cancel at any time. We stop issuing invoices once we process your cancellation, and you owe nothing further.
  • Your course access ends when we process the cancellation, within 3 business days of your request. If you would like to keep access until the end of a month you have already paid for, say so in your request and we will process it on that date.
  • Learners added by their school do not pay us directly. Speak to your school about leaving a class or course.

3. Tutor Workspaces & School Subscriptions

  • Monthly plans: cancel at any time. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for. You keep full access until then, and no further invoices are issued.
  • Annual plans: cancel at any time. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month, and we refund every whole month after that, as set out in our Refund Policy.
  • Who can cancel: the owner of a tutor workspace, or a school administrator or the principal for a school or district account.

4. How to Cancel

We confirm every cancellation by email within 3 business days, with the date it takes effect and any refund due.

5. What Happens to Your Data

  • For 30 days after your cancellation takes effect, you can still export your data, for example gradebook, attendance and SBA records as CSV files. Learners should download their certificates in this time.
  • Schools can also ask for a full export, which we provide within 7 business days.
  • After the 30 days we delete the personal information, except records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices and payment records. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. When We May Suspend or Cancel

  • Unpaid invoices: a learner's course lessons stay locked while the first invoice is unpaid, or when a later invoice is past its due date. A school or tutor account is paused at the end of its trial until the first invoice is paid. Access opens again as soon as the payment is confirmed. Your data is not deleted while an account is paused.
  • Breach of our terms: we may suspend or cancel an account that breaks our Terms and Conditions or Acceptable Use Policy, immediately for serious breaches or after 14 days' notice for others.
  • If we stop offering a service, we give at least 30 days' notice by email and refund any prepaid amount for the period you can no longer use.

7. Refunds

Cancelling within 7 days of paying gets you a full refund. Other refunds depend on what you bought. Our Refund Policy sets out every case.
